Monarch Butterflies have come to take up temporary residence in the Israel Garden where I work and worship at the Global Spheres Center.
The above photos are my favorite out of all of the assignments. I enjoyed all the assignments because I was learning from all of them. I need to be proficient in them.
I liked the cropping assignment. In an assignment after that one I saw where I could/should have cropped the photo I used.
I wll go through every assignment again and again until I master them all. I will also work at figuring out how to use my Elements software.
Day Twenty: The triumph was me capturing a photo I was pleased with. The contrast is the leaning tree that looks like it is whispering to everything around it.
Day Nineteen: A pair of wine glasses were personally decorated and given to me as a gift from my artist friend.
Day Eighteen: For this assignment I picked a photo from my stash that I thought might work. It has a disappearing edge.
Day Seventeen: I happened to look at my glass lamp and saw the lit candle reflecting through it. So a light bulb flickered in my head and the thought came to me that it might work for this assignment. Hope you agree.
Day Sixteen: My most recent treasure is my mother’s ring that I received from my sister. I didn’t give the ring a thought when my mother graduated to heaven many years ago. In fact, I had forgotten about the ring.
When my sister asked me if I wanted it, I had no clue what ring she was talking about but said yes just because it belonged to my mother. I was surely surprised when the ring arrived. It was a blessing to receive this beautiful piece of jewelry that belonged to my mother especially she passed one hour and twenty minutes before my birthday.
Day Fourteen: Trying out my new camera at the Japanese Garden . I wonder if whoever set this up did it according to the scale of the two objects.
Day Twelve: For this day’s assignment I had to shift to a past photo from Rome Italy that I shot on a tour. The photo’s I took for this assignment won’t upload some reason.
It’s not monochrome but this is the best I can do.
